Eskdale Wild Swimming Walk

Join me for a gentle meander through the Eskdale valley in search of solitude and cool water. We will be making our way between the swims on foot, with opportunities to swim in a tarn and/or river pools. The swims are not suitable for beginners. Ideally you will be comfortable to swim without a wetsuit however wetsuit swimmers can be accommodated. All of the swims are in small bodies of water and you will be swimming out of your depth. The walk includes two short climbs over undulating terrain covering approx 5miles. We will be walking for several hours so you will need a packed lunch, and we may also stop at a pub or cafe. Walkers and dogs are welcome.
